For this mission, the 701 heavy bombers were divided inro two formations:
- One cross the Channel from Beachy Head to Le Havre and bombed the Northern France airfields.
- The other, after flying over Beachy Bay, went round Britanny to bomb Western and South Western France airfields. (See Raid) |
