COLLISION

• On the 27 March 1944, about 12 miles from Attlebridge, after the take-off for mission n° 4, (Biarritz), occured a mid-air collision between Prosper F. Pinto Crew n° 405, flying a/c # 41-2936411 and Robert J Mogford Crew n° 514, flying a/c # 41-52562 F. The crash killed both crews (20 men). Both were listed 785th and or 784th Sqdn - 466th BG

B- 24 H - “OH MONA”

• A/c # 42-52341 H - “OH MONA”- Norman Flynn Crew # 711was dammaged while dropping her bombs over Biarritz and made an emergency landing on return. Gunner Wade Hull was wounded.
